One serving of this delicious breakfast contains:
6 g of dietary fiber

74 calories
Not to mention, bananas are an excellent source of potassium, vitamin C, flavonoids, and vitamins B6 and E.
So not only will this breakfast keep you nourished throughout the morning, but it will also provide you with all the nutrients your body needs to function at its best!
5 reasons why a good breakfast like bananas and cream oatmeal can lead to that desired promotion:
- Boost Your Brainpower
Bananas are a great source of potassium, which has been linked to increased brain function and mental performance. So, if you want to impress your boss with your sharp wit and quick thinking, start your day with a bowl of bananas and cream oatmeal!
- Stay Energized All Day Long
Oatmeal is a complex carbohydrate, which means it releases energy slowly throughout the day, keeping you feeling full and energized. This is crucial for staying focused and productive at work, especially during those mid-afternoon slumps.
- Improve Your Mood
Bananas contain tryptophan, an amino acid that helps to boost serotonin levels in the brain. This can help to improve your mood and reduce stress and anxiety, making you a happier and more pleasant employee to work with.
- Keep Your Heart Healthy
The beta-glucan fiber found in oatmeal has been shown to lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. A healthy heart means fewer sick days and a better overall performance at work.
- Maintain a Healthy Weight
Oatmeal is a low-calorie, high-fiber food that can help to keep you feeling full for longer periods of time. This can make it easier to maintain a healthy weight, which is not only good for your health but can also boost your confidence and self-esteem at work.
So, there you have it! The next time you’re looking to land that promotion, remember that a simple bowl of bananas and cream oatmeal could be the key to success.
Not only is it delicious and easy to make, but it’s packed with nutrients and benefits that can help you be the best version of yourself at work.
Make bananas and cream oatmeal from scratch; you’re worth it!
There’s not a lot that stirs up emotions and taste buds quite like a warm bowl of bananas and cream oatmeal, especially if you make it from scratch.
Bananas and cream oatmeal are a classic breakfast, and for good reason. They’re both delicious and satisfying together and they provide quality energy and nutrition that the body can convert into productivity easily!
Recipe for bananas and cream oatmeal
The classic recipe calls for whole milk at the very least, or half and half.
The perfect banana and cream oatmeal is made with:
1/2 cup oats
Water, quantity as directed by the package
½ cup milk of choice, the creamier the better
1/2 mashed banana
½ tsp genuine vanilla extract
dash of cinnamon (optional)
teaspoon of brown sugar (optional)
1 spoonful of crunchy peanut butter or sliced almonds (optional, but YUM!!)
Instructions:
- Cook oats according to the package directions with water. Cooking it on the stove is healthier than using the microwave. If you can get into the habit of not using the microwave, your food’s nutrients will stay at peak quality.
- Once the oats are done cooking, add in the milk, mashed banana, sweetener of choice, vanilla extract, and dash of cinnamon and peanut butter, if you choose. Stir everything together and let it cook for another minute or so until warmed through.
- Top it off with optional sliced bananas using the other half of your banana.
You can make this ahead of time and have it ready in the fridge to warm up. Make a few days’ worth at once to save time.

If you are in a big hurry
If you don’t have 5-10 minutes to put this together in the morning and want to take it on the road, this is the closest thing, just add boiling water to cook it, and then add cream or milk as a touch of luxury!
