Don’t fret though; we’ve all been there. Luckily, it’s not too hard to clean up; so grab the scrubber and some cleaner, funny-face-towel optional, and get to work. Don’t forget that hair dyeing adventures are all part of life’s adventure and although sometimes messy, totally worth it in the end.
1. Gather your supplies. You will need a bottle of acetone nail polish remover, a clean cloth, and a bowl of warm water. If you do not have acetone polish remover, scroll down for alternatives.
2. Pour some acetone nail polish remover onto the clean cloth.
3. Rub the cloth over the hair dye stain on the counter until the stain is gone.
4. Rinse the area with warm water to remove any residue from the acetone nail polish remover.
Alternatives to the nail polish remover can be other household items if you do not have acetone remover can be:
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Hydrogen peroxide
- Rubbing alcohol
